School Age
Our School Age After School Program provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children continue to grow academically, socially, and emotionally beyond the school day. Licensed through the Child Care Division and staffed by certified, background-checked teachers, our program offers a balance of structured activities and child-led experiences that foster creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and independence. Great Days proudly serves families throughout the South Lane School District, with district-provided transportation from each elementary school to our center. Before school care is available beginning at 7:00 a.m., with district buses transporting children to school.
After school, children enjoy a healthy snack, homework support, and a variety of hands-on activities including art, STEM, literacy, games, outdoor play, and creative projects. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, build friendships, strengthen problem-solving and leadership skills, and develop confidence in a nurturing environment where they feel valued and supported. As with all of our programs, these experiences are guided by the Great Days Mission Statement, providing a developmentally appropriate, hands-on, play-based environment that nurtures each child's unique strengths and inspires a lifelong love of learning.
