Pre-K

Alisa Walley is our fabulous Pre-K teacher, and she has been with us for 30+ years!

Pre-K is available from 9-12 a.m. Monday through Friday (2-5 days per week) for children ages 4 to 5 who will be attending Kindergarten the following fall.

Pre-K is an amazing place to be where your child will certainly have a Great Day! In addition to developmentally appropriate curriculum, we are pleased to add 5 iPads to the classroom for educational purposes. 

The Pre-K classroom concentrates on letter recognition, name writing, colors, shapes, and social skills.

At Great Days, children learn through a combination of structure activities and exploratory play. Staff set learning goals for children in reading, math, and writing. Some of each day’s activities help children achieve these goals. 

Children leave Pre-K Kindergarten Ready.

Pre-K’s also take multiple educational and enriching field trips throughout the year including the pumpkin patch, the fire station, the library, a farm, etc.
