Barbara Howell has been the Director of Great Days since 1990. She helps out in the classrooms and keeps things running. She has 24 years experience in early childhood education, a mother of 6 children and has 12 grandchildren.

The mission of Great Days Early Education Center Inc., is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing childcare center. A developmentally appropriate early childhood education with parent support that is affordable and flexible to Cottage Grove area families.
Great Days has been a non-profit child care center since 1975. We are run by a board of directors consisting of community members and parents.
We accept parent payments as well as DHS and ERDC payments. We collaborate with the University of Oregon Early Childhood CARES to provide free screenings and evaluations of speech and other developmental concerns of children as needed.
